Cultures of the World and Pentecost

The events of Pentecost and the testimony of the Word of God make clear that God is the true multiculturalist – but not like the progressives and the postmoderns would have us believe.  They teach that all cultures are equal and that there is no culture which can be determined to be better than another.

God teaches us that we are all of one blood, one race – the race of the fallen Adam.  All cultures built according to that race are ethnically impure.  They are fallen, and those kingdoms will be judged on the last day.  They will be cast into the lake of fire.

But there is another race of men; it is the race of the New Man, the new humanity, the new Adam.  This race is not uniform although there is great unity.  This race does not have a particular ethnicity, although all have one Father.  This humanity is made up of many kingdoms, peoples, languages, tribes – it is as diverse as can be –for we are Trinitarians.  There will be many sub-cultures that will come forth as Jesus rules over them – and they can be judged in light of the Word of God with regard to their conformity – to the better or worse.

The tongues of fire fell and people heard the Word of God in their own languages because God is the Lord of all languages, all tongues, all peoples – and because God has a Word for all people of any and all religions.  And that Word is this:  Repent and believe.  Repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.  Confess Jesus as Lord, the Son of God, risen from the dead after dying for your sins, and you will be saved.

Every language.  Every culture.  Every nation.  Every century.  Every day.  Now.  Come and worship Jesus.
